Thank you for downloading the owenrudge.co.uk Screensaver! Two versions are available:

- Windows
- SEAL 2.0

GENERAL NOTES
=============

To use this screensaver, you need a video card that supports 640x480 in 16-bit, 24-bit or
32-bit colour modes.

To exit the screensaver, press any key. Please note that it may occasionally take about half a
second before you are returned to the Windows/SEAL desktop. The screensaver does not currently
support password-protection.

INSTALLING AND USING THE WINDOWS VERSION
========================================

The Windows version should run fine on Windows 95 or higher, or Windows NT 4.0 or higher.
Please note that you may need DirectX 5 or higher to use it best - it has not been tested
without. Also, if you receive problems when trying to test it, etc, you may need to download
MSVCRT.DLL - this can be found on Microsoft's web site (somewhere).

To install the screensaver, simply copy ALLEG40.DLL and Owen Rudge.scr to your Windows SYSTEM
directory (\WINDOWS\SYSTEM on Windows 9x/ME, \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 on NT/2000/XP).

INSTALLING AND USING THE SEAL 2.0 VERSION
=========================================

There is also a version of the screensaver for SEAL 2.0, a GUI for DOS. See
http://sealsystem.sourceforge.net/ for more information on it.

You need version 2.00.09 (Kappa) of SEAL 2.0 or higher to use this screensaver. If you are using
a newer version of SEAL and the screensaver doesn't work on it, please check my web site for
updates.

To install the screensaver, copy the file OWENSS.SSS to your SEAL 2.0 directory (for example,
C:\SEAL2\BIN). If you want, you can rename the file to something like "owenrudge.co.uk.sss".
